Bicerin Coffee Cake

Ingredients:
2 eggs
200g (175ml) sugar
150 ml syrup (preferably dark)
1 1/2 tsp ground clove
1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
150g melted butter
50 ml strong coffee mixed with
100 ml of Bicerin Liqueur
325 g (450ml) flour

Method
Mix the eggs and sugar into a light foam, then add syrup, spices and butter and mix thoroughly. Mix bicarbonate of soda well into the flour then fold alternatively Bicerin Liqueur & coffee mixture and flour into the cake mix. Pour into a large, buttered, loaf tin and bake in the middle shelf in 150 C for approximately 45 - 60min depending on the oven.
